ABOUT BOB MOULD

Bob Mould is arguably one of the most influential musicians of the alternative rock era, first for his early work with post-punk rabble-rousers Hüsker Dü, followed by the college-rock-defining pop of Sugar and finally for his solo albums, notably his first, Workbook, which quieted Mould's previous ire to reveal his fine songwriting in a new light and allowed an introspective glimpse into the inner workings of an evolving artist.

2009 marked the 20th anniversary of the release of Workbook, and also the release of Bob Mould's latest solo work, Life And Times. Produced and mixed by Mould in Washington D.C, the album is filled with Mould's experiences in relation to friends, lovers, the world at large and himself.
Stephen Thomas Erlewine at All Music Guide has called Workbook "a consolidation of Mould's considerable strengths, an album that showcases his gifts as a writer and record-maker, one that touches upon almost every phase of his career, yet it's filtered through a maturity that feels vital because of its unadorned honesty."

Bob Mould's live shows highlight an artist completing a circle decades in the making, his talent undiminished, his perspective revitalized

ABOUT LENNY KAYE

As musician, writer, and record producer, Lenny Kaye has been intimately involved with the creative impulse that marks the music. He has been a guitarist for poet-rocker Patti Smith since her band's inception more than thirty years ago, and is the co-author of Waylon, the life story of Waylon Jennings. He has worked in the studio with such artists as Suzanne Vega, Jim Carroll, Soul Asylum, Kristen Hersh, and Allen Ginsberg, as well as his own solo muse. His seminal anthology of sixties' garage-rock, Nuggets, has long been regarded as defining a genre. You Call It Madness: The Sensuous Song of the Croon, an impressionistic study of the romantic singers of the 1930's, was published by Villard/Random House in 2004.
