ABOUT THOMAS IAN NICHOLAS

Thomas Ian Nicholas is best known for his starring role in all American Pie Movies, Rookie of the Year and several other favorites including new release Please Give. What is not known is that he also fronts his own band. A skilled and capable player and songwriter he is increasingly poilshed in his performances.

Musically, he draws on influences - from Switchfoot to Springsteen. His music is polished for the radio, but raw enough to sound honest. After 2008's Without Warning and 2009's Without Warning Acoustic, Thomas wanted to craft a record that incorporated his influences while further developing his own style. Those influences cascade together to create something vibrant and alive. Thomas describes his sound best. "I think of it as John Mayer writing the melody, Bruce Springsteen singing and The Foo Fighters backing it all up. The new material definitely feels that way. It's a little heavier, but it still has that pop influence."  In the past he has opened for Blues Traveler, Cracker, played the Florida Music Festival and countless others.
