Legendary guitarist/singer/songwriter Richard Thompson will be doing his first all request shows of the 21st Century in NYC.

As a teenager, Thompson co-founded England's Fairport Convention, before moving on to a string of classic albums with Linda Thompson and a long solo career. His songs have been covered by a wide array of artists, including Elvis Costello, REM, X, Bonnie Raitt, The Blind Boys of Alabama, and Del McCoury. His most recent release was Sweet Warrior, and 2009 also sees a 4-disc career retrospective box set called "Walking on a Wire."
