On the 10th Anniversary of September 11, 2001, City Winery is hosting a benefit concert to raise funds for 9/11 Health Now, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to aiding the rescue and recovery workers of the World Trade Center attacks who are suffering due to the toxic exposure at Ground Zero and related sites.
Artists confirmed to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of 9/11 include Suzzy & Maggie Roche, Richard Barone, James Maddock, Teddy Thompson, Julie Gold, Rich Pagano, Jesse Harris, Marshall Crenshaw, Vernon Reid, Rich Ferguson, Jesse Smith - more special guests to be announced.
All proceeds of the concert will be donated to 9/11 Health Now.
9/11 Health Now Mission
9/11 Health Now is dedicated to health, hope and healing within the 9/11 Community. We pledge to provide support, information and services to the community by the following means:
1. • A comprehensive website offering up-to-date resources and information on 9/11 Health.
2. • Outreach to unite 9/11 Community and family members to appropriate health and aid programs.
3. • Efforts to obtain financial aid for 9/11 families.
4. • Concerted outreach to foster public and legislative awareness of 9/11 Health issues.
5. • Fund raisers and events which promote 9/11 Health and raise funds for 9/11 programs.
