Loudon Wainwright III is a gifted entertainer. From appearances on Saturday Night Live in 1975, to Johnny Carson in 1984, to David Letterman in 2008, Wainwright has drawn wide appeal across the decades. Wainwright has also been able to make an impact in the film industry. Lately he has appeared in The 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up (contributing to Knocked Up’s soundtrack), but has also been on “M*A*S*H*” and “Ally McBeal.” His self titled debut album in 1970 and latest album Recovery in 2008 span a 39 year career during which Wainwright has worked with the best and brightest in the entertainment industry. His latest endeavor, High Wide and Handsome, The Charlie Poole Project, re-visits the songs of the famous banjo picker from the early 1900s. Come hear Wainwright spin stories and play some quality music.
