Vai Da Capo, is a powerful new tenor group made up of Grammy award-winning opera singers and stage performers, Nmon Ford, Joseph Guyton, and Colin Eaton, and made it’s world broadcast premiere on WLIW21 Dec 5th . This sweeping special performance, Vai Da Capo, Songs of Delight, was shot in one of the few surviving rococo-style theaters in the world, on the grounds of Germany’s picturesque Schwetzingen Castle. The group was joined by the legendary Patti Austin, and performed pop hits of the 70’s and 80’s, such as Michael Jackson’s “I’ll Be There,” Simon and Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water”, and Bill Withers’ “Lean On Me.” Vai Da Capo will make its U.S. debut live in New York, in an exclusive WLIW21 member concert at City Winery on February 9, 2010.

Who is DaCapo?

Nmon Ford


Three-time Grammy award winning songwriter and arranger, Panamanian-American Nmon Ford began his musical training at the age of three. He recently made his Italian Debut at Teatro della Muse Ancona in the title role of a new production of The Emperor Jones. He has also appeared in with Hamburg Opera, Virginia Opera, Cincinatti Opera, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, to name a few, and been a featured soloist with the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center, the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, and the National Symphony at Kennedy Center, as well as the Chicago Symphony, Atlanta Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s at Carnegie Hall.

Joseph Guyton


Joseph Guyton recently appeared in Pilsen, Czeck Republic, in one of Puccini‘s masterpieces. He’s also appeared with the Lyric Academy Rome where he sang the role of the Duke in Rigoletto, Rodolfo in La Boheme, and Alfredo in La Traviata. He’s debuted in Eugene Opera in Oregon and Treasure Coast Opera as the Duke in Rigoletto. Joseph made his French debut at the Festival Lyrique Belle-Ileen-Mer as Rodolfo in La Boheme, a role he later sang with the Prism Opera in New York City. He was also featured in a Off-Broadway production of Come Fly with Me. Joseph was part of the Domingo Young Artist Program in Washington D.C. were he worked with luminaries like Placido Domingo, Frank Corsario, Roberta Peters and Anna Moffo.

Colin Eaton


Colin Eaton has been lauded by The Washington Post as “a commanding tenor that sings with great aplomb” and by the Baltimore Sun as “a young tenor whose name you shall not soon forget” and “possessing the ability to dazzle audiences with ease.” Colin was recently featured as the tenor soloist for the 38th Annual Kennedy Center Messiah Sing-Along. Other oratorio and operatic solo performances include the National Philharmonic, Orff’s Carmina Burana, the Mozart Requiem with Oratorio Society of Charlottesville/Albemarle, and appearances with Tulsa Opera, and Sportin’ Life in Porgy and Bess, Don Basilio and Don Curzio in Le Nozze di Figaro, and many others. As a member of the world-renowned United States Army Chorus, SFC Eaton frequently solos before our nation’s highest ranking government and military officials, as well as visiting dignitaries from around the globe.
