Session 2 - 02/22 - Introduction to Wine tasting

This session will provide you with a solid understanding of wine appreciation. Topics being covered will include:

*Sense of sight: What does the appearance of a wine tell us?

*Sense of smell: How to use your sense of smell & what aroma and bouquet inform us.

*Sense of Taste: The steps to training your palate and what wine should tell us by mouth-feel.

*Understanding balance in white and red wines

*A special training flight to focus on sense location and feel.(acid, sugar, tannin.)

*Flight of various wines to illustrate different mouth-feel.

The course is structured to as an introductory - intermediate class with a moderate amount of technical detail, but sufficiently accessible for novices. Class size is deliberately kept small to give all attendees access

Each session will feature a variety of wines, and attendees will be supplied a course book comprising notes from the sessions.

The classes are packaged as 5 sessions for $325.00 ($65.00 each). Separate classes may be purchased for $90.00 per session.
