Session # 3 - 04/05 - White Wine Vinification

This session will provide a good understanding of the methodology and practice of white wine-making. Topics to be covered include:

*Introduction to white wine-making

*White wine varietals

*Malo-lactic fermentation: what it is and why to do it

*Balance and structure of white wines

*White wine flight illustrating oak and non oak influences.

The course is structured at an introductory - intermediate level with a moderate amount of technical detail, but sufficiently accessible for novices. Class size is deliberately kept small to give all attendees equal opportunity.

Each session will feature a variety of wines, and attendees will be supplied a course book comprising notes from the sessions.

The classes are packaged as 5 interlinked classes for $325.00 ($65.00 each). Separate classes may be purchased for $90.00 per session.
