Our Seder follows a tradition going back thousands of years, including the drinking of 4 cups of wine, discussing the four different children, reciting the 4 questions, and eating a delicious meal with family and friends around communal tables.

The Downtown Seder brings together 20 artists, political figures, thinkers, and comedians to offer a one-of-a-kind interpretation of the ancient Passover Story. We do it 4 days before Passover starts, so that you can bring many of these important messages to your own Seder. This year, we already have confirmed:

The dinner will be vegetarian (with an exception for Chicken Matzah Ball soup) and will include 4 glasses of wine, as well as a take-home Haggadah.
