Winemaker Helen Turley is a winemaking legend in California, but early in her career she couldn’t even get an assistant winemaker position because, as some told her, it was “no job for a woman.” She persisted, and went on to craft stellar wines at Turley Wine Cellars (owned by her brother Larry), Peter Michael, Colgin, Bryant Family, and her own Marcassin label.

Helen couldn't make the journey east this year, so Lisa Granik MW, and self confessed Turley fanatic, has graciously volunteered her insights as we celebrate Helen's wines with a four-course dinner.

As an added incentive, you can bring your own bottle of wine made by Helen or another woman winemaker and we'll open it with no corkage fee.

6:30pm sharp - Reception and welcome wine

7.00pm – BYOB Dinner begins

9.00pm - Dinner concludes

Ticket price includes a four course dinner with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival. A selection of wines from Turley Wine Cellars will be available for purchase in flights and by the glass (limited quantities):
