City Winery Brings Together Israel's Greatest Wine & Music To Celebrate The 61st Year of Independence!
On Wednesday May 20, 2009, City Winery will be celebrating Israeli independence with a bang! Bringing in wines from over 15 Israeli Wineries paired with Israeli singing sensation David Broza for the post-tasting entertainment, this promises to be an incredible evening full of sabra love. For over 30 years, David Broza has continued to surprise audiences with eclectic music that reflects his upbringing in Israel, Spain and England. From finger picking to flamenco-esque rhythms and right down to good old rock and roll, Broza continues to conquer the stage. A wordsmith, he has also taught Master Creative Writing classes at Bennington University. David will be singing a special Yom Ha'atzmaut concert in celebration of Israel's Independence Day doing only his Hebrew tunes.
