About the artist:
American singer-songwriter, Eric Hutchinson released his fourth studio album last spring entitled Moving Up Living Down, in which he exemplifies the ups and downs of life, and the growing process that this has on a person. The singer explains that he wrote this album with the incentive to create rhythms and beats to get the crowd to sing and dance along with him.
Some of his major influences on this album include Paul Simon, the Beatles, and Stevie Wonder. He also remarks that his new album is in many ways a homage to soul music, one of his favorite genres. Hutchinson has been very busy debuting his freshly released songs on audiences all over the country, from a converted garage in Salt Lake City to the 30,000-seat Calgary Saddledome. He has also been gaining international attention by enticing crowds with his songs filled with stories of the open road (one of his favorite places to make music) and the people that he has met along the way.
Eric has found international recognition with singles such as "Rock & Roll," and "OK, It's Alright With Me" (top 5 on AAA radio). He has made his mark in the music industry with his compelling and irresistible presence, and is very excited to see where this next journey will lead him.
