Haystack Peak Vineyard is a high climb from Napa’s valley floor. At over 1300 feet above sea level amidst the craggy outcroppings of the Atlas Peak AVA, lies this picturesque vineyard. The soil is a thin red rocky volcanic loam, with a western exposure towards the afternoon sun. The vines produce small concentrated berries that deliver a wine of tightly knit structure and extraordinary concentration of richness.
