Riedel Glasses for City Winery

“Last week, Riedel glassware became the official and exclusive crystal glassware supplier for City Winery.” Michael Dorf, City Winery’s head drinker, and Maximillian Riedel closed a deal over lunch to confirm that we will be using the finest stemware in the business. “I am very excited to working with the absolute best glasses in the world. Our customers will be thrilled sipping wine or champagne from this beautiful crystal. How cool will it be to drink from real glasses while watching a Steve Earle or Suzanne Vega concert.” City Winery has designed a separate dishwashing room for high-temperature (185 degrees) cleaning of the glasses, which eliminates the need for detergent and the potential bad flavors that adds when using regular temperature dishwashers like 95% of the other restaurants in NYC. Dorf adds, “At City Winery we take our drinking very seriously.”
